I began working with infants and toddlers in the fall of 2006. I currently have an associate’s degree in early childhood education and I am still in school, working toward a bachelor’s degree. When I became a teacher, I realized quickly that I was passionate about creating a trusting, reciprocal relationship with each family. Working in an environment that intentionally and purposefully fosters a child’s sense of joy and wonder is important to me. FitKids has provided that as well as the tools and motivation needed to grow continuously as a teacher. Here I feel a sense of purpose in what I do, and I love that. When I am not at FitKids, I am enjoying time with my husband and three daughters. I also like to hike, swim, play softball, read, write, and sing.
